Abbey

If you are not an animal lover or a cat lover, you should probably skip this post (and check your pulse to see if you really do have a heart).  My loving father drove all the way from Oklahoma to pick up our sweet kitty. He graciously agreed to keep Abbey for us until we got back from our trip and we are so thankful! It was, however, very hard to let her go. This morning we packed up all her things and loaded them in my dad's car. It was so sad! She cried. I cried. We had a moment. From my dad's report, she traveled pretty well and decided on her own to stay in the crate 90% of the time. She probably felt the safest in there. My dad will have a few weeks with her until my sister gets there too. We plan to have some skype sessions with our little baby so she doesn't forget us. We had a good cuddle session the night before she left, so hopefully she won't be too traumatized by this summer (though she'll probably never want to get back in a car)!
